The Fort Worth Association of Realtist is the Fort Worth chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (NAREB®), which is the oldest minority trade association in America. NAREB was founded in 1947 on the principle that all citizens have the right to equal housing opportunities, regardless of race, creed, or color.
There are over 90 chapters nationwide and members of the NAREB® organization are referred to as “REALTIST®.”
Our Mission is to enhance the economic improvement of our members and the communities we serve.
We bring together professionals in the real estate industry to promote the meaningful exchange of ideas about our business and how best to serve our clientele. NAREB ensures training and educational opportunities are available to our entire membership across the many disciplines we represent. NAREB members represents a broad array of real estate, mortgage and housing-related professionals.
Angela R. Gilchrist
Angela is first a wife and mother with a strong faith in God. She loves encouraging people, specifically youth, to be their highest and best expression of themselves. Angela is a licensed Texas real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage NRT who has a passion to help educate families on the power of wealth through homeownership. Angela R. Gilchrist is the current President of Fort Worth Association of REALTIST a local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, NAREB. She is passionate about "Democracy in Housing" and fulfilling the National mandate of "2Mn5" Two million African American homeowners in five years. Angela is an entrepreneur, inventor and soon to be author who loves network marketing; She is also a graduate of the Spirit of Faith Bible Institute, Temple Hills, Maryland. Angela is a native New Yorker and now resides in Keller, TX with her husband and four young adult daughters, who are her life’s trophies and gifts from God.
